El padre que se ríe del hijo gordo mientras maltrata a la madre; el chico que se enamoró de un ángel y la chica que tenía dos madres y la cruz de Caravaca en el paladar. Estos relatos nos enfrentan al mundo real, a nuestras manías y disparates, a nuestras fobias, al espejo que nos revela que ya no somos jóvenes. Pero también dotan de muletas anfibias que nos conviertan en sirena. Sacudimos la cabeza para alejar lo que nos estorba y hacemos de nuestro rincón el paraíso. Un libro que podría ser un matamoscas o, un lugar para refugiarnos.
